I sold a Land Rover Discovery. At some point, life moved. I listed it, updated the status to Sold, and moved on.
Moments later, a DM came in. Five words: “Did you just sell my car?”
It was the original owner. The person who built that Discovery himself. He had photos of it, taken on actual film. He had been looking for it. The car started its life on the East Coast. Somehow it made its way to Colorado. And he came within minutes of getting it back.
